Diagnostic Evaluation for Therapy Protocol
The Diagnostic Evaluation for Therapy Protocol (DETP®) is a proprietary test battery designed by Dorinne Davis to identify key learning, development, and wellness issues and suggest an appropriate protocol sequence for the administration of remedial, skill enhancement, or wellness sound-based therapies. It incorporates tests of hearing sensitivity, sound processing, auditory processing, and vocal analysis, and provides information as to which therapy, or therapies, should be considered. The Diagnostic Evaluation for Therapy Protocol (DETP®) is the starting point for determining which sound-based therapy is appropriate. The results of the DETP® determine the correct, foundational sequence for sound-based therapies and their benefits. It evaluates one’s sense of hearing, general sound processing, specific auditory processing skills, and the body’s overall ability to support and maintain learning and wellness changes. The DETP® provides solutions to understanding the complexities of sound-based therapies and their benefits.
